Step 1: Wash & Sterilize
Start by washing the milk collector with mild soap and rinsing it thoroughly. Remember to sterilize all the components before using them.
Step 2: Insert & Align
Next, insert the valve into the milk collector, making sure to align the arrow on the valve with the arrow on the collector for a proper fit.
Step 3: Place & Center
Place the flange over your breast, ensuring that the nipple is centered in the neck of the milk collector.
Step 4: Squeeze & Collect
Squeeze the bottom bulb of the milk collector to establish suction. Once you feel a steady suction, milk should start flowing into the bulb when let-down occurs.
Step 5: Remove & Transfer
When the milk flow stops or you've collected the desired amount (up to 4oz), gently remove the milk collector from your breast. You can transfer the milk to a bottle or a breast milk storage bag/container by removing the valve and carefully transferring it to the desired storage. If you plan to store it for a short period, add the lid to the container and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
